In April 2012 Aroma Buena Catering went to HAVANA, CUBA!

In April, 2012, Aroma Buena Catering went to Havana, Cuba, on a culinary educational sabbatical and San Francisco Chamber of Commerce people-to-people educational exchange trip.
As some of you you may know already, Aroma Buena Catering has taken sabbatical trips to many international locations in previous years, in the search of the best Hispano World Cuisine. These sabbatical trips have been very special and essential
as part of our vision to bring you -- our treasured customers -- new and refreshed, authentic offerings to our menus.
In Havana, we met with some of country's best chefs specializing in authentic Criollo cuisine. We spoke at length with the president and founder of the Federacion de Asociaciones Culinarias de la Republica de Cuba -- the guiding culinary association of Cuba. We discussed recipes, ingredients, techniques, and our desire to offer you the best examples of quality traditional Cuban dishes and flavors experienced in Cuba.
In the coming months, Aroma Buena Catering will add some very delicious Cuban selections not previously part of our repertoire. Whether now or in the future, if you would like a dish that you don't see offered in our online menu, either from Cuba or elsewhere, just ask. We often can prepare items not on the regular menu -- such as Ropa Vieja Cubana, a specialty we've offered off-menu for over a year and we think is better than most other versions we have tasted, anywhere!
